    Hello,

I am re-building my site. I’m using Polylang and Elementor.

I would like to use Rank Math as my SEO plugin but it seems that, at least in the past, problems existed.

Are the problems, or at least great part of them, been resolved?

    Many thanks in advance.

    A.

    Hello @anthyx,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

Unfortunately, Rank Math is not yet fully compatible with Polylang. We’ve been trying to establish a collaboration with them for a few years. There are still some issues with the sitemap generation and canonical URL of the translated pages.

Consider contacting Polylang and requesting that they add the same compatibility they have for other SEO plugins. The compatibility addition needs to be made on their side, as they have done for other SEO plugins.

We remain committed to making this happen and updating it, provided their team is willing to collaborate. Polylang’s response on this matter can be found at: https://github.com/polylang/polylang/pull/373

For your information, we are fully compatible with other translation plugins, such as TranslatePress and WPML:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/multiple-languages-seo-rankmath-translatepress/
    https://rankmath.com/kb/multilingual-seo-wpml/

We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,

I have not received any reply from Polylang Dev Team so far. I really don’t know what to do at this point.

Could you please tell me if using Rank Math and Polylang can cause me serious problem? (now and in the future) .

I mean: if it’s all about ‘sitemap generation and canonical URL of the translated pages’, maybe I can fix these issues manually, isn’t it?

What do you think about it?

    Many thanks in advance.
