Is qTranslate being actively maintained?

Just wondering if this plugin is being actively maintained? It’s been a while now since a major update, and it definitely has some issues with were introduced with WP 3.4 (not major, just a little annoying, such as the unprocessed title string appearing in the appearance>menu editor.)
I’ve already developed a site for a client and I’m a little nervous about recommending it again.
