• Hello Hector Cabrera,

I am using the your this plugin for displaying the top post, I does not know what is going on.

    Here is my website. https://www.javascripthive.info.

One of my post is does not viewed from last 2 days as the said by Google Analytics and Histats.com but your plugin said that this post is viewed 8 times from last 2 days. Really, I does not know what is going wrong.

So my question is that this plugin is also count the view of the RSS feed or any type of feed views ?

One more question. I want to disabled the RSS feed view. If anyone view the post by the RSS feed view than I want to redirect the user to my original post URL. Is that possible ?

    Thanks & Regards,
    Kalpesh Rajai.

    Hi Kalpesh!

In my experience, I’ve found that sometimes GA isn’t that reliable. Take this for example, these are today’s statistics according to GA (yeah, I barely get any visits so please don’t laugh at me hehe):

    Today's GA stats

… and here’s what WPP reports:

    Today's WPP stats

As you can see, the stats are almost identical – the only difference is that for some reason GA includes one pageview to the freelancing article while WPP didn’t. Why? It could be that that one visit was a bot and GA registered it (that one visit shows 00:00:00 of avg. on page time), or that maybe the user who visited that post closed its tab fast enough that WPP was unable to register the visit but GA did. It could be anything, really. I honestly don’t know. What I can tell you is that WPP registers actually does means that your posts & pages were loaded in a web browser by a human visitor for sure (I coded the plugin, after all) so I’m pretty confident that the stats are quite accurate.

One more question. I want to disabled the RSS feed view. If anyone view the post by the RSS feed view than I want to redirect the user to my original post URL. Is that possible ?

Not really sure if that can be done. You’ll have better luck asking either at the How-to and Troubleshooting forum or the Plugin & Hacks forum, chances are that someone else knows how to do it / knows a plugin that does it.
