Is Polylang currently compatible with Custom Permalinks?
-
Hello,
I have been trying to use Polylang with Custom Permalinks but I’ve been facing some issues. All of my plugins and WordPress are up to the latest release.
The problem appears when I use a custom permalink that includes slashs, for example:
English version: https://www.mysite.com/additional-url/my-post
Portuguese version: English version: https://www.mysite.com/pt/additional-url/my-postWhen I try to access the portuguese version of the URL, it redirects to the english version. If I use a difference structure with hyphens instead of slashes, it works:
English version: https://www.mysite.com/additional-url-my-post
Portuguese version: English version: https://www.mysite.com/pt/additional-url-my-postThe problem only occur when Polylang is used with custom permalinks. The polylang is currently disabled on my website in order to not make the content unavailable until I solve the issue.
Any ideas? Is it possible to use them both or they are just incompatible?
Thanks in advance, Bruno.
