Is Platform Woth It?

I have been an avid WordPress user for years now with just enough php knowledge to tweak a theme or really screw one up if I’m not careful! I have developed the habit of only being happy with a theme for 6 months or so because I always end up making a compromise when I pick a them (i.e. it is never exactly what I want). Of all the various themes I have used (and it has been a lot), I have only ever paid for one. Granted it was the one I used the longest but it still wasn’t exactly what I wanted…or maybe more appropriately, there wasn’t a lot of potential for growth inside the theme. Enter Platform. I love the concept of this because it allows you to tweak it to what you want and then still have the ability to make small or large changes as you want to grow. And there is the added bonus of being able to do it from the admin panel and not have to fool around a lot with the php.

So, my question is this: Is this theme worth the $99 dollars?
