    Looking at “Screenshots” tab under “View Details” for the plugin makes me think the Filmstrip Slideshow is included in the free version, but I seem to only be able to generate a slideshow with buttons at the top. Reading the “Description” tab doesn’t clarify for me at all.

    – I would like a slideshow with filmstrip at the bottom. Am I doing something wrong or is it not available in the free version?

    – If not, is it available (filmstrip at BOTTOM) with the paid version?

    – If I need to upgrade to the paid version, I am not interested in a subscription. How do I make that happen?

    One more question — if I need the paid version, will I have to deactivate free/install paid or can I just plug in a license key? Don’t want to do a bunch of work, only to have to start over again.

    Thanks!

    @ciabellaz,

    Thanks for contacting us. Note that you need pro version to get access to filmstrip. You can cancel subscription at any point from your PayPal account.

    If you purchase the paid version, deactivate and delete the version of gallery you own and install the paid option. This way no data will be lost. It gets lost only if you uninstall the plugin. Thanks.

    Thank you for the response!

    Feeddback: I’m not a fan of subscription-based pricing and had I not had a rush request from a client, that would’ve been a deal breaker for me because I presumed I had to cancel the subscription. That puts the extra steps on me.

    I basically like the plugin and appreciate that it’s a good deal for the amount of work that went into it.

    Two comments/one question: (1) The back end interface is a bit confusing. You explain somewhere the difference between Galleries and Albums, but I don’t see that information in the interface anywhere (and I can’t even lay my hands on it again right now). (2) The filmstrip movement feels clunky. Is there a way I can make it smoother easily? (I haven’t had/don’t have time to look through the code and figure it out myself right now.)

    @ciaobellaz,

    Well, for now we have only subscription option, which can be cancelled at any point.

    For Gallery and Album difference, album is a set of galleries and/or already created albums.

    I need more details on what is not desirable related to the filmstrip to help you out. thanks.
