$ is not defined error

Some JS code in the wp-views plugin is using $ as an alias for jQuery. The problem is that $ is undefined at this point, so the code fails. This might depend of course on other plugins/theme I have on this WP site.
By checking the code, I discovered that replacing ‘$’ with ‘jQuery’ (twice) in wp-content/plugins/wp-views/embedded/res/js/wpv-pagination-embedded.js on line 221 solved the problem. No $’s are used anywhere else in this file, so I think this is just one who got forgotten.
