Is my theme bad for seo

  • I’m using themefuse newsetter theme on my blog since 5 months but I’m not getting enough traffic from search engines, is any problem with my theme or anything else with my blog, plz check it and help me in improving my site URL is https://comingmore.com

    They call it “latest features rich theme”, I’ve also contacted them but still waiting for the reply.

    In many cases, the theme can only help or hurt SEO just a tiny bit. Sure, you can use SEO and sitemap plugins to help but my initial thought is that there are two big factors in why search engines aren’t driving a lot of traffic to you at the moment:

    1. You are in business/technology niche, which is very competitive. Any site that’s been up for only a few months typically not be anywhere near the top of any search.

    2. You do not have a lot of engagement yet. Your articles only have 0-3 comments each.

    The good news is that you’re producing a lot of unique content. In the near term, you could also focus on generating more activity on your site.

    Thanks a lot Gabe Young for your expert review. “activity on my site” this is what I have tried a lot never been successful in this matter. I tried social traffic also, but can’t get enough comments. What do you recommend to do for getting a lot of comments on blog.

    Not sure if this affects SEO aspect of your site but I think it’s worth pointing out that you got this in the <head> of your site which is obviously wrong.

    I think you only need the last one (which is normal ga script), even if the other is needed too, one would be suffice, not 4 exact copies.

    @hamayon, there are many tactics you can try to gain traction. Here are a few things you could try:

    – Respond to every comment
    – Visit the your commenters’ sites and leave a comment
    – Offer to write a guest article for like-niche sites
    – Write an article asking for guest articles for your site

    From a long-term perspective, you could hone in on a sub-niche topic. Having broad business and technology topics puts you in competition with too many sites. So instead of new technology, you could focus on something like phone apps or cloud-based services. In fact, even those are big nets to cast. You can go to an even deeper sub-niche and try to be the expert for that.

    Again thanks man, but interesting thing is that I have tested apps and cloud based services but those too are really competitive. What do you think about pictures and videos websites or any other good niche in your mind?

    I was just giving you examples. You’ll have to find what’s the best balance of your interest vs. what’s not already a cornered market. You can use the Google keyword tool to help.
