• I have run into an odd situation. Being an amateur it may just be a simple issue. We are building autotexpink.com in WordPress but there was an existing site hosted with the web developer. I created a fake company name and built the autotexpink site under mofocommunications.com. Then, when it was ready to go, I set up the hosting with GoDaddy and changed the domain in the Mofocommunications WordPress Settings to AutoTexPink.com.

I had a couple issues and need to upload the WordPress site to GoDaddy but now I can’t find the site. mofocommunications.com re-directs to autotexpink.com where there’s nothing there. /wp-admin doesn’t work for either of the sites.

    What do I do?!?!?!

I can’t get into the Admin section to change back the URLs.

Now go and read the first link I posted above. There’s nothing in there about being able to access your admin area.

Ok thanks. I am reading through and very confused so I appreciate your help. Where do I get the wp-config.php file?

    Hi AnthonyLeardi,

Your wp-config file is located in the root of where ever you installed WordPress. If you installed wordpress on your root of the domain – it will be in that folder. Your wp-config file contains your database settings so it’s really important when moving WordPress, as you will have to change some things in there to work with a new database.
