Hello mate. Sorry to trouble you, but thanks for your great plugin! I just installed it on my WordPress site, and on this page https://thelivemusicagency.affordaband.co.uk/faqs/, with the shortcode [email name=”cfe-music”]. When I load the page, it looks visually like it’s displaying my full email address – is it actually cloaked in some way? – i.e. should it look different on screen, or is it still uncloaked atm? Sorry for the no0b question. Ideally, I had wanted the sentence to just read “Or, send us an email” (with the word email being the hyperlinked, obfuscated email address. Is this possible?

    Cheers,
    Stu

    Hi Stu.
The plugin works on a source code level. (in your browser if you view source) This is where spam bots scrape emails from and this is where the protection exists. In your case your source code looks like this:

    `<span class=”cfe-jsemail-cfe-music” data-subject=””>loading…</span>

As you can see the email isn’t revealed in the source code.
Currently we don’t have the feature of having your own text as the hyperlink. It’s a feature I can work in if more people request it.

    Hopefully this answers your question.
