  • The plugin works fine, except ofcourse for manually added spam.

Anti-spam plugin does not block manual spam and it was mentioned in the faq.

I just got one and declared this comments as spam.

How many visitors does your site have per month? And how often did you get manual spam per month?

Is the IP-address and/or mailaddress now included in a list to prevent further spamming?

There are very-very-very small possibility that the same spammer will write you again. So there is no need to block future comments from this IP-address.

For now I did not yet invent effective methods to block manual spam. But manual spam happens pretty rarely and for last few years it does not bother me or other users too much.

    Hi webvitaly,

I know manually added spam can’t be blocked, that’s ok ?? I just wondered if a comment that I ‘spammed’ was registered for future use. But you’re right. I was so quick with clicking the spam button they will not try again. In this case it was a Dutch company that sells e-cigarettes.

This was the first spam by the way, after having your plugin installed.
