Is Jetpack Boost conflicting with WP Super Cache.

WP Super Cache has been detected on your site. To enable Jetpack Boost’s caching feature, you must first disable this plugin. Click here for more information.

Should I just install 1 cache plugin and completely remove WP Super Cache?

Will Jetpack Boost completely replace WP Super Cache?

    Hi @tommyjp19,

If you’re currently using the basic caching functionality of WP Super Cache, consider switching to the caching feature offered by Jetpack Boost for a straightforward replacement. This advice applies specifically if you’ve merely activated the caching option in WP Super Cache. However, if your needs extend beyond the basics and require more sophisticated features, sticking with WP Super Cache would likely be the best course of action.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Why do I have to turn off or delete WP Super Cache to enable Jetpack Boost’s caching?

Why can’t you synchronize both of them to run at the same time?

    Hi @tommyjp19,

Using Jetpack Boost alongside WP Super Cache can introduce complications due to overlapping functionalities, which might result in site errors, performance degradation, and troubleshooting difficulties. Both plugins aim to speed up your site by caching, but when used together, they can conflict, potentially slowing down your site and complicating error resolution.

Synchronization of both plugins is not feasible due to these overlapping functionalities and potential for conflict. The recommendation is to assess your site’s specific needs. If Jetpack Boost’s caching and performance optimization features align with your requirements, switching to it would streamline your site’s performance management. However, if you rely on advanced features unique to WP Super Cache, it might be better to stick with it.

I hope this helps, but if you have other questions, please let me know.
