Is it too late to redirect?

  • I’m in the process of switching from my wordpress.com site, ladywiththeredrocker.wordpress.com to my new self hosted site, ladywiththeredrocker.com. I’ve exported/imported everything, and purchased domain mapping. Everything seems to be up and running, but I’ve notice a significant drop in traffic.

    I’m wondering if it’s too late to purchase a redirect through wordpress.com in order to keep my Google rankings, or is that something I should have done with I bought the domain mapping?
