Hi! I’ve been playing around with your plugin and it really looks promising. The question is: how do I translate the Offer title / Offer description / Offer CTA text strings after I customize them? The solution provided in this link doesn′t really work, because it suggests to add a different language-contidioned campaign per language. The problem by doing so is that, when I switch to another language in the forntend, the cart deletes the offer (for example, a checkout bump), and you have to add it again from scratch, causing a lot of confusion in the customer.

In the way your plugin is built, Offer title / Offer description / Offer CTA text strings can be only translated provided you don’t change the pre-filled texts, but if you happen to enter your own text, you are unable to translate them and you’re forced to create two campaigns per language.

So, either I create one campaing per language with the same offer, but different texts (and switching to another language in the frontend deletes the offer in the checkout) or, if I use a single campaign, it won’t be affected by language frontend switching, but the texts will be in one language only.

Do you have plans to implement REAL custom string translation in WPML? Thank you!

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out!

To address your translation needs, here are the steps:

    1. Download the translation add-on for our plugin here: Translation Add-on.
    2. Sync the add-on by following these instructions: Sync Guide.
    3. Once synced, your custom text (including offer titles, descriptions, and CTAs) will appear in WPML. You can then translate them into the desired languages.

For example, after syncing, the string from this screenshot: Screenshot will show in WPML: WPML Screenshot.
