Is it possible to time limit eligibility for product B?

    This looks like a great plugin for my needs. At my eLearning site, I’m selling training and the accompanying certification as separate products. I don’t want someone to be able to buy the certification unless they’ve either previously purchased the training or are purchasing both concurrently.

    However, I also want to limit the amount of time they are eligible to purchase the certification to 365 days. (I don’t want people coming back 15 years later to get certified.)

    Does WooCommerce Product Dependencies have such a feature?

    Product Dependencies does not include any options to add time limits to ownership dependencies.

    To achieve the result you have in mind using this plugin it is necessary to write a significant amount of custom code. To help you with this, it is a good idea to hire a Developer. Our top recommendation for WordPress/WooCommerce customizations of this scale is https://codeable.io/.

    Alternatively, it might be a good idea taking a look at the official WooCommerce Memberships plugin that allows you to restrict content based on the membership status of each customer. For example, once customers purchase the training course they could automatically get a membership that would allow them to purchase the certification. Moreover, this extension allows you to define a time period during which the certification will be available for a specific membership.
