Is it possible to split my site into a UK and US version

  • Hello,

    I am building a site for a real estate company and I wanted to know if there is a way I can have 2 versions of the same site on the same domain, one for the UK and other for the US. So for example I would have a button at the top where if you press it the site changes to the US version and vice versa. If there is how would I go about implementing it?

    There are many free plugins available for multylanguage or you can buy following plugin
    wpml.org

    I was hoping for something more like pages with the same theme but different content, but on the same domain if that is possible. I was reading about sub-domains, is that the same thing as what i described?
