Is it possible to show posts in menu_order?

    From the description it looks like it’s only possible to choose order by – Newest to Oldest, Oldest to Newest, A → Z, Z → A.

    I’d like to see a order by menu_order (so I could order the entries myself with the help of something like “Simple Custom Post Order”.

    And also a order “Comment Count” etc. could be helpful.

    Is this possible to accomplish?

    Thanks for reaching with us for the new feature with ‘order by’.

    We definitely like to add that feature but before that let me know what kind of “Simple Custom Post Order” support you looking for.

    Does that compatibility of Simple Custom Post Order plugin?

    And I got the point for “Comment Count” feature.

    So, just give me an answer to my question and we will provide these 2 more options ASAP with our next plugin updates.

    Thanks for your answer.
    I don’t think there needs to be any “compatibility” baked in as the Simple Custom Post Order plugin just gives a way to drag and drop the “menu_order” but doesn’t otherwise add or change any fields.

    In other words it allows one to change the order of posts, pages or custom post types (and also taxonomies) with drag & drop. That’s why a output order by menu_order makes a lot of sense to manually and simply define the order.
