Is it possible to show full text only on front and page and extract elsewhere?

  • Hi,

    Is it possible to show full text on index page and on the page of the post itself, but to show only an extract on the archives pages? I want to avoid duplicate contents on my blog.

  • Full content (with read more link if enabled) –> <?php the_content('Read more &raquo;'); ?>

    Excerpt –> <?php the_excerpt() ?>

    What theme are you using?
