Is it possible to share post as link?

    There is an option Attachment to be posted to Tumblr,with values Link and Image, so if you want to share link with preview ,set it to Link.

    Yes, I have done that also but I get an underlined text link and not a preview as I described earlier. You can test it with one of my video blog link and see what I mean:

    I think the issue is that your plugin is trying to send the post as text type and not as link type.

    If you select link as Attachment to be posted to Tumblr,then WP Tumblr Auto Publish send the post as link type.
    If you set featured image or if there any image in the post content then the image is passed as thumbnail parameter ,otherwise no image will be passed so no thumbnail image will be appear in the preview.
    You should set either featured image/ image in post content or get the premium version of WP Tumblr Auto Publish(which allow og:image and custom image urls as thumbnail).Please contact support desk for more details about the premium plugin.
