Is it possible to setup a user gallery with wordpress?

  • Is there any plugins or maybe other CMS’s that allow wordpress users to setup a user gallery? Similar to deviant art.

    Essentially id like users to be able to upload and submit their own photos/videos/link urls etc in categories ive made. Also with the ability to moderate said uploads before it goes live. I guess basic content sharing features?

    Im not sure if wordpress is the cms for this but im most comfortable with it (been using it for years). Anyway, any recommendations?
