hello. I am using Woocommerce to sell products to different countries.

All my shipping is free and I use USD as the base price, but I would like to set the – value based on the country.

For example, in Australia or Singapore, I want to show a price reduction of -10% or -20% from the USD price.

Is this possible in the pro version? Thanks

    Hi there,

    • You can use the “shipping zones”(https://woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/): Deactivate the option “Apply the exchange rate to the shipping cost” at Pricing zones > Options > Advanced. Create the same shipping zones than the pricing zones, and set the shipping cost expresed in the currency of the countries included in the shipping zone.
    • If you use the “price calculate by the exchange rate” on your products, you can set the exchange rate of the pricing zone to 0.9 to reduce the price -10% or 0.8 to reduce the price 20%.

    Hi, @oscargare.

    Thanks for answering.

I want free shipping to all countries. So, if i use “Calculate price based on exchange rate feature” I think this method will work for me.

    I have another question.

Is there a way to ensure that customers purchasing in the US are only billed in US Dollars (USD)?

For example, in the United States, products cost 30% expensive than in Japan (JPY).

If you select JPY as your currency in the US, pay in JPY and ship to the US, you will not be able to make a margin.

I wonder if there is a way to prevent this.

    Hi,
Price Based on Country is not a currency switcher. The users can’t select the currency. Price and currency are based on the customer’s (shipping or billing) country.
The pricing zone also changes when the user changes his country on the checkout page.
