Is it possible to re-order pages? Change tab size?

  • Hi all

    Is it possible to reorder pages across the top of my WordPress?

    https://step.blog.usf.edu/ Here, I have added the page “Calculus Techniques” but I would greatly prefer that it be the last page, and it’s defaulted to the first spot.

    Also, with the number of pages I am running, they are overlapping the search bar at the top. Is there a way to change how large the page tabs are? If not, can I move (not remove) the search bar?

  • If it’s a multi-site installation with networked themes, would you need to be a super-admin to edit a theme? The docs aren’t too clear on the point (to me).

    Just a thought.

    That’s definitely possible and seems logical.

    Yes you would need to be a Super Admin to edit a networked theme for a multi-site installation…

    Scroll down and check out the other things that only Super Admins can do. Can you do those? If not, then I would think @peredur is right. Can you install plugins?

    And as far as that list goes, I’m not a Super Admin, but have almost all the admin privileges… until I read this line

    Yep. That’s it. You need to talk to your IT administrators. Give them a choice: either they alter the HTML/CSS/PHP or they give you the rights to do it.
