Is it possible to provide a filter or hook in a url?

Can you provide a link to the page on your site where this is working by clicking the filter word? If they are using named anchors to change the displayed product, you should be able to send the same selection in the URL query string. If not, and this is done with JavaScript, you’ll need to contact the author of the plugin or code that displays the filter words and loads the proper product once a filter word is clicked.

I would like to be able to specify in a url something like https://tarus.com/tarus-cnc-machinetools-made-in-usa/machines-that-we-build-2/#Clay_Model for example so the page loads and automatically displays the three machines you see if you click on Clay Model as if you had actually clicked Clay Model

I’d guess you’d have to write a custom plug-in for that. You could use the url https://tarus.com/tarus-cnc-machinetools-made-in-usa/machines-that-we-build-2/?product=claymodel and use a hook to check on that page if a product was passed. If so, you could use jQuery to apply the class “selected” to the product’s anchor tag.
