Is it possible to not send an email when the “Deny” button is pressed?

Thank you very much for your work on this great plugin. Is it possible to stop emails from being sent to users who are denied? Phrased another way, is it possible to not send an email when the “Deny” button is pressed on the member requests screen?

In our scenario, we have competitors signing up. We would like to deny them, without them realizing they have been denied. We are open to making code changes or doing anything we can to help support this as a feature.
