There is no self-hosted live streaming feature or video conference available yet in WebinarPress. The current build relies on 3rd party platforms like youtube, Vimeo or Zoom because hosting live streaming on your own server requires a lot of resources.

@ruel214 could you tell us, which one platform provide direct webinar to broadcast from webinarpress?
I see I need OBS streaming software to stream in any platform.

Can’t we manage webinar without OBS or any streaming software?
That in that 3rd party platform a webinar or broadcast is running and from that platform I just copy the link and paste it to our webinarpress in wordpress and it will work.

    Thanks!

    Other alternatives include:

    Zoom
We have full integration with Zoom so the meeting appears in the WebinarPress window. Attendees can interact with the host so this is great for online classes. Zoom also has a webinars feature that lets you broadcast to thousands of attendees with up to 100 hosts but this is a paid add on.

    Jitsi
Similar to Zoom but it’s free for up to about 40 attendees. Does not currently offer a webinar feature.

    JWPlayer Live Streaming
Similar to YouTube Live but hosted as a paid solution.

    Vimeo Live Streaming
Vimeo is probably the most popular platform with our users but pricing starts at $70/month.

We also support any other platform that can be embedded such as Red5Pro.
