    Hi David,
I’ve seen your plugin now, and seem wonderful! ??
I would only ask you if with your plugin is it possible to sort by category for example the “internal” media library images upload.

For to be more clear, you suppose to have to create an image gallery. In this image gallery you simply must add images. So, after you have named the image gallery, you must add images to this new one gallery.
Click add image from internal library and here should be very fine the possibility to view (and list) only the images relative to specific category.

    many many thanks!

Thanks for your kind words and for your question.

MLA does not have “named galleries”, but you can use the taxonomy support it does have to get the results you want. You can assign Att. Categories and/or Att. Tags to Media Library items when they are uploaded or at any time after that, then use the taxonomy parameters of the [mla_gallery] shortcode to compose galleries of the images with a specific category or tag value. There are several examples in the Settings/Media Library Assistant Documentation tab, and earlier support topics like this one:

    Basic Custom Taxonomy Field Shortcode

I am confident the taxonomy support in MLA will give you what you need. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have problems or further questions regarding taxonomy use in MLA. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
