I am trying to be clever and use Vagrant as a single-command instantiation of my development environment. Provisioning this environment involves installing a local WordPress from a duplicator archive.

At present, I only know how to do this by accessing installer.php in a browser. Is it possible to install from a duplicator archive from a Linux command line? That is, does the plugin integrate with wp-cli or have its own interface? Or is it only theoretically possible to automate this by hacking it with curl or some other tool?

  • Hey Nick,

At the moment it doesn’t have access to any wp-cli or php cli in general. Later next year we hope to start working on a cli for the Pro version. I currently just use iMacros for general automation.

    Thanks~
