is it possible to include a video in the home page in a Quality Blue theme free?

  • Hi,

    I am using the free version of Quality Blue, which is great. I have done all I need except that I can’t put a video on the homepage. Ideally it would show on top of the banner, or just bellow it.

    Any one could help me? I have the video in wistia and as well I have it in the media of my worldpress.

    The best position for the video to appear would be on ‘Banner Sub Title’ space. I copy pasted there the link from wistia, the link stays there when saved but nothing is seen on the home page, not even text of the link.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Kindly replace index-slider.php file in parent quality theme with this LINK

    then Find below code in index-slider.php

    <iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/E8rpY2FwKkY&#8221; frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>

    and change your embed URL link and size.

    then save and check your website,

    Any confusion let me know.

    Actually I found the simplest way; I made Home-Front page, post page, now the landing page is a fullwith-page and gives me the flexibility I don’t have in a standard HOME. As I don’t need services or projects it worked for me. I found this by chance as I am totally new on this.

    Now I have all exactly like I wanted, except that the video preview (before playing it) could be bigger than it is. In my pc screen it is like inch by inch and a half. I would like it to be double or triple this size. Any easy solution?

    Thank you for your help, and thank to the blue quality theme, very good for beginners like me.
