    Hi,

I think the title says it all really. I’ve been playing with the demo but I can’t find a way to hide a layer image without also hiding the menu option for it. Is it possible?

    Hi there,

There isn’t currently a function for that.

Technically you could probably achieve that with conditional logic by duplicating the choice and showing the one with or without the image.

I am curious though, as I haven’t had this request before.
Could you give me some details on the configurator and the reason for hiding the image only?

    Hi Marc,

Thank you for the fast reply. I’ve had another go at it this morning and I’ve managed to achieve what I need for now with some conditional logic. Here’s the link to the demo if you want to have a look.

I was struggling to display one of the combinations correctly, the ‘lowered axles’ couldn’t be used on a single layer and combined like the others as the wheels were ending up on the wrong side of the base frame. I ended up having to pre-combine all image combinations that contain lowered axles and store them on separate layers, then use conditional logic to hide them and show them as needed.

Is that the only way to do it? I can send you the login details if you want to take a look at how I’ve set it up. I’m not sure if there was an easier way that I just couldn’t see.

Really appreciate the great support, I love the plugin so far.

    Thanks, Lois.

    Hi Lois,

It is a way of doing it, though I think there is an easier way.

The way I would have done it is by having a layer contain just the wheels that overlap, and display it over the other layers, only when “Lowered axles” is selected.

As a result, you don’t need to combine the layers, and end up with only one condition for the same result.

Oh wow, you’re absolutely right. I’m glad I asked now before I built all my products up the way I was going to.

Thank you so much for your help, I’m off to buy your plugins now and spend the day configuring. ??
