Is it possible to have drop down menu?

    Hey,

    I like your plugin, work great!

    Finally I found time to translate my page into more than two different languages. Till now I have selected language hidden and only one displayed on the menu. Now when I’m trying to have 7 different languages I need another method to display languages because they take too much space in the menu. So I wanted to manage drop down menu but I’m not such an expert to do that without your help. In widget there is no option that I can use.
    I was searching on documentary of the plugin on your web page but without success.

    Can you please help me with step by step instructions?

    Hello

    In widget there is no option that I can use.

    Polylang gives the dropdown feature only in Appareance > Widget > Language switcher: Displays as dropdown. But flags are not displayed with this dropdown.

    Or you can use in Menu the “Custom Links” (put # for as URL) metabox and put in sub-item the “Language switcher” metabox.

    thank you for your response.

    Yes, sorry, you have right there is a option in Widgets for dropdown. It’s my problem that I don’t use Widgets. I like to have as much space on the page as possible and Widgets take it too much.
    But in other hand I think that could work. I have tried in the meantime not to bother you with a plugins such as from widgets to menu but always find a conflict with other plugins so came back and I would really like to ask you for a little bit more of your time with “”Language switcher” metabox.” step by step instructions for beginners if I may?

    Thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for!

    Please keep up your good work. I have purchase WPML before knowing about Polylang and now I’m using Polylang. It’s much more reasonable how it translate plugin must look like.
