    Hi Kemory

On our Awesome Indies Book Awards website, I have made extensive use of all your suggestions with great success. Whenever a book is “approved” by our assessors, it is added to the “Bookstore” (the slug we use instead of “Reviews”) and appears in the “library” etc.

However, it would be handy to keep all the books that are still pending assessment/review in one place – that is, something that is completely separate from the main published reviews and only accessible by a password. I wondered whether I could just change the slug to “assessment_pending” and password protect the new additions, but the book still shows on the public blog as “password protected”
So, is it possible to have a completely separate or second Recencio installation. Ideally, I would like to have exactly the same layout as I am using for the main bookstore but have the “assessment_pending” books in a library or blog only showing up to certain users.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

This would not be possible, at least not how you think. Please bear in mind that the “reviews” that Recencio creates, or “bookstore” in your case, are just regular WordPress posts with extra fields attached. So, in this case, WordPress posts can’t exist in 2 separate forms on this same site – neither can “bookstores”.

With that said, you may be create the system you have in mind with a custom taxonomy such “Assessment” with terms such as “approved” and “pending”. Then you could use these terms along with the “private” post status to manage how they are displayed.

Ah yes… that makes sense. I’ll try it.
