• We use Polylang to translate (show) our website in both danish and swedish, based on the domain visited. In our case domain.dk and domain.se.

It seems that the URL option when using the filter doesn’t include the domain. Is there another way to do this?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

    Thanks for using Independent Analytics!

This sounds like something we’ll have to add a special integration for. Let me do some testing with Polylang and I will follow up with more details soon.

    Peter,

It looks like this is something we can add in an update. We normally remove the domain extension from the URL, but we can add an option in the Settings that will let you display the domain extension in the table and filter by it.

Sweet! When you write “in the table”, does that mean it will display “Domain” as a column option under filters as well?

    Thanks

Not exactly. What we’ll do is allow the domain extension to show up in the URL column. This will make it possible to differentiate the domains in the table and you will be able to filter the URL column by “.dk” or “.se” to find results for just one site.

Sweet. I did try that before writing, because I could see in the database, that the domain was part of the url.

I would recommend a dedicated domain option in the filter some day, because it would be more user friendly.

    Thanks
