I use NextGen Gallery on my site to display color options for the various products that I sell. Sometimes the galleries are quite large. Rather than recreating a gallery that has some slight changes from an existing gallery, is it possible to duplicate the first gallery and then edit the new one?

@dsafety Maybe, it depends what you mean by “edit”.
If you only want to exclude some images from the gallery, yes, you can do it via ATP function.
E.G., in the back-end you may create one or more different galleries organized by type together covering all the full range of variations, then when you put one or more gallery on the page you can exclude images that you don’t want to display. Surely its feasibility also depends on how many images are.

@dsafety – Along the lines of what @tizz is suggesting you can use the “Copy to …” function to copy images from one gallery to another; and, then you can modify the new or old gallery as you need.

    – Cais.
