• i have a website built but wanted to add a wp blog to the website that will load in page and stay on that page when different links from the blog are clicked. I don’t know enough about wp to build wp around the website, so would the only other option be an inline frame or is there another option that would be easier, better, and appear nicer?

    Thanks

  • I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking. Can you give us a link to a site that does what you are trying to describe, so we can see it in action?

i think he is trying to include the blog into his own website using an iframe.

But why would anyone want to do that? Frames are terrible from a usability standpoint. I’m just trying to understand what they want to accomplish; maybe there is a better solution.

    i agree.

Maybe when he wakes up he could tell us more i think best usability way would be to merge his current site into wp.

ambrosite You have a good knowledge of wp — how could i seperate the table terms that wp uses to store cats and tags in the database.

Trying to get them to be used seperatley so that im able to have tags like tags/skin and cats/skin i have tried but wp renames my cats because there is already a tag named skins.

Right now I couldn’t tell you. But my next project requires me to undertake a deep investigation of the WordPress taxonomy, so maybe in a week or two I’ll have an answer.
