• Hello,

I’m a newbie here. I’d like to be a WordPress writer. Is it possible to organize my pages with page numbers like the following?

    1. On the home page, I’d like to put some categories like: Food, cars and music. I think each category is a “page”.

    2. When people click on a category or navigate to that page, They will find a number of threads or articles related to that category. Each article is written on a “Page” too.

    3. Can I create an independent (Separate) page numbering for each category?
Is that possible to do although I’ve basic knowledge of HTML and I prefer plugins or third party apps?

For example, When a viewer clicks on the category “Cars”, He/She will found many pages and each page contains many articles. Those pages are numbered from 1 to 9 for instance.

When He/She clicks on the category “Music”, They will find the pages are numbered from 1 to 3.

The page numbering system of the category cars has nothing to do with the numbering system of the category music.

    Thank you,

Write a bunch of posts and assign each to a category. The posts for “cars” would appear on https://example.com/category/cars, and so on. The posts will appear in date order, the most recent first. Why do you want to number anything?

    Hello,

Why do you want to number anything?
Because I care about what will appear on Home Page. Most recent posts will appear on Homepage no matter what their category is. I just need the categories to appear on Home Page like images or icons. When you click on the image, You can find the related articles and pages. I would like it to look more like a website, not a blog.

    Thanks for your reply,
