Is it possible to control images used in RSS?

  • I am using the standard RSS feed on my WordPress and I use the rss feed for an APP where the image size from posts is an issue.

    For the RSS feed – is it possible to either:

    1. only use the post thumbnail image in the rss feed

    or

    2. limit the image size in the RSS feed to a maximum width (or size)

    is there a plugin to do this or coding?
