Is it possible to change permalink of home page?

    Try dashboard, settings, reading, front page displays and set your new page as the opening page.

    Did that, and it worked – except that the background for my home page doesn’t show up. The page works fine except when it’s the home page:

    When it’s https://www.mysite.com it won’t show the header background.

    When it’s https://www.mysite.com/newhome it shows the header background.

    I was hoping that changing the permalink would correct this problem!

    Is there some setting that i’m missing for the home page?
