We’ve been looking at how menus work in general.

And one thing is that Megamenus, that display a lot of categorised options at once, are a good option.

    That’s fine on a desktop.

But the Megamenu setup that comes with Meteorite falls back to a stepped dropdown menu system. So on a phone, you have to keep on hitting the down arrows to fold out the menus.

Would it be possible to get a variation on megamenu on mobile that just drops all the megamenu items down, with the top most one of each section gently highlighted in some way so the users can see the subject breaks.

I’m thinking of SOMETHING like this website.

On desktop, it’s a standard megamenu. On mobile, it drops all the sub items into one column, with heading differentiation.

Obviously all this is to taste, so an option, or an alternate set of CSS would be the goer I think…??

Well, I guess that can be achieved with some custom CSS. Depending on what you exactly want to realize, I can help you with that. This would require some screenshots / layouts, information about your current setting (do you use the normal mega menu or the mega menu with headings?) and so on.

However, if it’s more than only a few lines I would suggest you to try it on your own or try some of the mega menu plugins, since I can’t do large custom codings as the user support.

    That’s fair. ??

I’ll do a bit of looking around.

If was something you wound up adding, that would cool too. ??
