Is it possible to center widgets within the sidebar?

This sounds like another job for CSS. Centering is performed by either text-align or by setting the width of the item and then setting its left and right margins to auto.

Did that comment get fixed? If so please mark the forum thread as resolved.

I figured this was a CSS issue, I just don’t know exactly what CSS to adjust and since I want to adjust the entire widget not just the header, I didn’t know if text-align would work.

text-align only works on inline text elements like not on block elements. For block elements you need to set the width of the element and then auto left and right margins.

Thanks Peter- I am not sure I know how to do that.
I am also looking to even out the space between the lines between the widgets. It’s looking a little off right now.
Any further help would be appreciated.

For the widgets that you want to be centered the css would look like

.centered_widgets {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}

where “centered_widgets” is the class or id of the element that you’d like centered.

into my child theme. What other step am I missing?
