Is it possible to auto log out inactive users after a certain period of time?

We have a development case open for configurable session timeouts to set auto-logout after “x” days/hours. I can’t provide updates here on the forums regarding release-dates or development schedules, but all customer suggestions are seen and discussed. I have noted your desire for this feature to be added, as more requests for a feature can affect development priority going forward.

Until Team Wordfence decides to implement what you’re requesting, we have the perfect solution for you: The Inactive Logout plugin.

It has a beautiful UI, it’s easily configurable, and is backed by stellar support. The Pro version is even better.

We’ve been using it for many years — in conjunction with Wordfence — with no issues.
