Hi, how can I allow only specific role users to view and add topics, etc. Let suppose I have 2 different roles of the user. I want the role_1 users only to view the forum.

  • You could do that with UserGroups

Can you use Asgaros as a private forum? I want the entire forum be invisible to the public, accounts only be created by Admins and three user groups.

The highest user group will be able to see and write in all forums, the middle group the lower two, etc.

    Is that possible?

Do I have to protect the viewing of the forum tab with a password? I want no external person to see the post or user count.

    Thank you for your help?

    Hello @razumovzky

Yes, this is possible. If you assign usergroups to categories, then only the users inside of those groups will be able to see the content inside of them.

You can disable the “Anyone can register”-option in the General WordPress-settings so only Administrators can create new user-accounts.

Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.
