• Hello!
Can you please help me with the following problem?
I can see that in the settings page for the plugin there is a Profession routing option, but my question is:
Is there a way to give access to a certain page only to certain profession?
I am asking this because I want only a specific profession to have acces to some content on one hand, but in the first place I don’t want that accounts with professions unrelated to the medical field to be able to get access to the blocked content.
From what I tried, you can make a DocCheck account without a specialization in the medical field (you can choose the option ‘Other’).

    Thank you for your time!

    Dear Vlad,

thanks for your message. So actually we have two topics here.
    1. Editing the access groups
    2. Routing a certain group of profession to a certain page.

Regarding 1. You can use the professional group testing via CReaM. After you logged in at CReaM you choose “Password protection” > “Login administration”. Here you are able to edit the login regarding certain access groups (e. g. pharmacists, physicians)

Regarding 2. One of the features of an Economy and Business License is the “Routing”-function. Using “Routing”, you allocate to your users the pages which they seek. The use of routing is recommended if you have different site sections for (for instance) pharmacists and physicians, offer different language versions for one product page or offer different content for users from different countries. To set up routing, your website needs to provide one specific URL or URL-parameter for each target group.

I hope, I could help you with that. Feel free to reach out to us if there are any questions left and contact us via [email protected]

    Best regards,
    Jette
