    Hi,

I saw that in Gravity forms, it is possible to add field in front end. More precisely, let us ask the applicant to add all educational background details (diploma, bachelor, master,…), or for instance languages they know. To do so, it is enough to define a sample field, and add a “+” sign close to first fields, therefor the applicant can add extra similar field to that question.

Is there a similar option in Forminator?

you may see what I mean in the image below:

    Thanks

After submitting this question I checked again your nice plugin, and saw that you already had such option.

Is it possible to put “+” “-” icons at the end of field row as in the image above?

    thanks.

    Hi @sdnazdi

    I hope you’re well today!

Yes, we do have such option but it doesn’t/won’t show the “+ icon ad the end of the row” by default. It’s “constructed” slightly different.

You need to add a “Field group” to the form first (in form builder) and then put your field(s) inside it and in “Field Group” settings configure the repeater settings.

Then the button or icon or text (depending on which option you choose) will show below the repeater field(s). The end result would be the same – click on that icon would add another copy of the field(s).

Here is more information on how it works:

I have a few suggestion, and I hope it help to your nice free plugin.

1- a little bit style for field group, for instance you may check gravity forms in laptop/mobile mode

2- when I choose min/max values for repeater, after reaching to max in front end, an strange reduced space happen between two rows

3-please provide some videos or gifs for some complex work in your help documents for tutorial

    thank you again,

    Good luck!

    Hi @sdnazdi

Thank you for response and suggestions!

1- a little bit style for field group, for instance you may check gravity forms in laptop/mobile mode

We do plan to improve form styling in general. For example, additional options that will make form nicely inherit theme styles, some improved settings too and possibly even nice style “templates”. I don’t have ETAs on that but there are plans for this (and more) improvements so I think in future we’ll see things getting much better in that area ??

2- when I choose min/max values for repeater, after reaching to max in front end, an strange reduced space happen between two rows

I just tested this and either I’m missing the point or it’s something specific – I can’t really replicate this in any way.

I think it may be in some way related to the site (theme probably but maybe some other plugin’s CSS) and it would be good if we could look into it. Could you please start a separate support specifically about this issue?

Please include link to the page with the form in that new ticket and we’ll look into it.

3-please provide some videos or gifs for some complex work in your help documents for tutorial

Sounds like a good idea. I passed this suggestion over to our docs team.

    Best regards,
    Adam
