Is it possible to activate the LSCW plugin with WP-Rocket simultaneously?

    Hi, the LiteSpeed Cache plugin is a great and comprehensive plugin, I can assure you of that. However, this plugin is not very compatible with my WordPress theme (Newspaper tagdiv) – not entirely incompatible or problematic, but if I activate or create a page with a specific mobile view, the desktop view will also display the mobile view.

    The theme developers always recommend WP Super Cache from Automattic, and the results are satisfactory, but if I enable CSS and JS minification, the website’s appearance will break just like with LiteSpeed Cache.

    However, the Newspaper tagdiv user community always says that WP-Rocket is the best and perfect caching plugin for this theme, even all users who have used LiteSpeed Cache always encounter the same issues. (This is not biased; the developers do not even state that WP-Rocket & LiteSpeed Cache are compatible with their theme – however, the real evidence from the community says WP-Rocket is highly compatible and can bring Google PageScore above 95 without complicated settings).

    I tried it, and indeed, it is the best of the best of the best – I activated all available features, and the website did not encounter any issues – even if from the LiteSpeed Cache side, it was already in extreme settings mode (Preset extreme).

    The question is why do I still want to use the LiteSpeed Cache plugin? It’s because there is a feature that is almost not possessed by all caching plugins or operates well, namely “Object Cache” – and my hosting (Hostinger – using hpanel) only has the memcache extension (no redis), and I have asked CS that indeed it is mandatory to use LiteSpeed Cache to be able to use memcache, there is no other way or installation of redis. That sounds like extraordinary monopoly while the plugin is not truly perfect.

    Therefore, I wonder if activating it with WP-Rocket will not cause any issues provided that I turn off all caches and features except Object Cache?

    There’s a second question: why don’t the LiteSpeed Cache developers address the issues with the Newspaper tagdiv theme when it is the most popular theme in the news theme category on ThemeForest with over 140 thousand sales?

    have you enabled mobile cache ? that should differentiate page for desktop and mobile

    back to your original question , techncially yes , as general guideline , in that case , you should NOT enable same feature on both sides

    for example if you enabled some JS/CSS optimization in LSCWP, then don’t enable it on other side , or vice versa

    Of course, “mobile cache” has been activated, but it’s futile. It only lasts for a while, then the desktop display will be like mobile, I see on several community forums like Tagdiv theme forums and others, on average, those who have the same problem, the error does not make the website fatally damaged like inaccessible or 505 errors, etc., the problem is only the display that will always be mobile, and there is no solution for each topic. Every forum says the solution is to clear the cache every time, but that’s not a permanent solution and it’s cumbersome.

    Regarding my initial question, I’ve tried installing 2 cache plugins simultaneously and it can be said it works but not perfectly, more problems occur in the appearance.

    The object cache successfully lives up and satisfies my web score results, from 97 to 100, and the website becomes lighter in loading. However, for some reason, the website’s appearance is slightly messy, possibly JS/CSS is messed up. So, the better choice is to disable it.
