    Hi.
On my homepage I use several hand-picked products blocks.
On desktop they show 4 images next to each other, which is fine.

On mobile view the 4 images are stacked on top of each other.

My question is if it’s possible, on mobile view, to show the 4 images by swiping? I.E just showing 1 image and the other 3 by swiping. It seems like a commun procedure, but can this be done with Storefront, preferably without using a plugin?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @boppar

    Thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like you would like to add a Product slider to your Homepage that allows for swiping when viewed on a mobile device, is this correct?

The feature you are looking for is not available in the Storefront theme by default, and I understand you prefer not to use a plugin, however this would be required.

After checking, I have found 2 extensions on the WooCommerce Marketplace to choose from, that can help you achieve this:

Although these extensions are not free, WooCommerce.com offers a 30-day refund policy which you can take advantage of, allowing you to test the extension, and make sure that it is what you are looking for.

Should you have any pre-sales related questions, kindly contact us directly, here. You will need to create an account if you do not have one already.

    Cheers!

    Hi @roxannestoltz
    Thanks for your reply.

On desktop I don’t need a product slider. The block hand-picked products block works just as I want it. On mobile view I want to avoid having the the products stacked upon each other. It would be neat to just show the first product and being able to swipe to see the other products.

It could be that a product slider could solve this. However I really try to avoid plugins that are not absolutely necessary. It feels unnecessary to buy and install a pluggin with hundreds of settings to achieve what I want.

I guess I have to think about another solution for not having products stacked upon each other in mobile view,

    Hi @boppar ,

    Ah, gotcha, thanks for clarifying!

What you would like to achieve would require custom code. Since custom coding is outside our scope of support, I am leaving this thread open for a bit to see if anyone can chime in to help you out.

Alternatively, for help with custom code, you could?hire a developer?or ask your customization questions in one of the channels below.

    Hope this helps!

I really like the Storefront Theme. Very basic but it works as it should. I think this the first problem I encountered with Storefront that couldn’t be solved without using plugin.

It would be so neat if images in gallery blocks could be swiped (in mobile view), just as it’s done in the product gallerys.

    Hi @boppar ,

    I hear you!

This is a really great idea and I’d suggest creating a Feature request for this here. ??

    Cheers!

Only suggestions buying plugins or hiring developers. My objective was to solve the problem without plugins. As it seems unpossible or at least no support knows how to do it I mark it as resolved.
