Is it posible to configure an archive template with sidebar filters?

  • Hi. Great plugin. This is a tricky one.
    Is it posible to configure an archive template with sidebar filters?

    Example:

    Dropdown option select:
    Wordpress Categories:
    Action, Comedy, Adventure

    Dropdown option select:
    Custom Posts (post-type: directors biography):
    Quentin Tarantino, Judd Apatow, Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Ridley Scott, James Cameron

    Dropdown option select:
    Custom Posts (post-type: actors biography):
    Harrison Ford, Marlon Brando, Linda Hamilton, Samuel L Jackson

    “Filter” button.

    When :

    Action selected
    Quentin Tarantino selected
    Samuel L Jackson selected

    Result:
    Pulp Fiction
    Jackie Brown
    Django Unchained

    I know this is easier using custom taxonomies for the second and third dropdown select, but I really need them to be individual posts from a custom-post-type for them to have all the required information. Thats why I need to use Posts 2 Posts for this instead of taxonomies.
