Is it normal for my site to crash?

  • I made a website on Friday and every time I try and log in through the admin panel on WordPress, the page doesn’t load. It says, “Problem loading page” on the bar and “Server not found” on the page. Same issue when I type the url of my site in the url bar. Let me note that it does this about 10 times through the day and even when I’m editing and click save, it just crashes again. But then after about an hour it suddenly works again. What could the problem be? Would appreciate some help.

  • Is there anything in the website error logs ?

    Have you talked to your web hosting support ?

    Yes, they told me it happens in the first 48 hours sometimes. Not sure if that’s true or not. And also they said it has to do with DNS propagation.

    Not sure that I believe any of the explanations either.

    If it does not resolve soon, the I suggest that you change hosting.

    It’s not crashing anymore today. At least the time I have been on it. Appreciate the help!
