Hello, I’m new to wordpress. I have created a blog in B2 evolution and what a job it was to customize, being that I don’t know php. Now, I’m thinking of recreating it in wordpress. I would like to make a new directory along side the directory that contains the b2 blog, in which to create the wordpress version. After the wordpress version is up and running and all is fabulous with it, I would like to delete the old b2 directly and rename the new wordpress directory with the name the old directory had been using, thus seamlessly replacing the b2 version with the wordpress version, and in this way the main website will find the new blog with the same link as already coded. Hope that makes sense. Will this be a problem? Does anyone foresee problems in working this way? Moving the b2 blog required many edits in the code, so I’m hoping wordpress is more set up for this sort of thing. Thank you in advance!
