Is it compatible with Version: 5.6.2

I think you mean version 5.6.2 of WordPress as WooCommerce is still in the 5.1.x version. ?? That said, even though the plugin hasn’t been updated in a while, this is usually a good sign that nothing that’s been modified in either WordPress or WooCommerce has caused any need for our plugin to be updated.

If you’re concerned about compatibility, I’d recommend you try things out on a staging site first. If your hosting company doesn’t provide a staging site, you can create one with the WP-Staging plugin:

You can create the staging site and update WordPress on the staging site and then test things with our Product SKU Generator plugin. If all goes well, as it should, you can then update your live site.

Just curious, if further WordPress/WooCommerce updates, require an update from on the plugin… do you plan to update WooCommerce Product SKU Generator?

We are still maintaining this plugin and offer support for it. The plugin hasn’t needed any updates since the last major WooCommerce version was released and we will be sure to update the plugin when it is needed for compatibility with any future WooCommerce updates. The plugin works well with WordPress 5.6.2 based on my tests.

Did you run into any particular errors while testing the plugin in a WordPress 5.6.2 or WooCommerce 5.5.2 environment? I’d be happy to help track down any incompatibilities you’ve found!`
