Is it better to use Polylang plugin instead of adding subdomin?

  • Hi,
    I have finished building a wordpress website in one language and I just want to add another language.
    Although this is my first experience to try building more than one language in wordpress website so I’ve searched about it and the result is that when I use multilanguage plugin, I will not have to use subdomains. My question is that is it better to use Polylang plugin instead of adding subdomains in terms of seo and so on?
